Connect to your Salesforce CRM to analyze customer data, opportunities, and sales pipeline.

Setup Instructions

  1. Go to dagstercompass.com/login (opens in a new tab) or type !admin in your Compass Slack channel
  2. Click Add ConnectionSalesforce
  3. Sign in to your Salesforce account as an admin
  4. Follow the OAuth flow in Compass to authorize access
  5. Select which objects you want Compass to analyze
  6. Wait for initial sync to complete

Data Sync

Salesforce data is synced via Polytomic (opens in a new tab) ETL:

  • Initial sync may take several minutes depending on data volume
  • Incremental updates happen automatically on a schedule
  • Manual refresh available in the Admin UI if needed

Permissions

You must be a Salesforce admin to authorize the connection. The OAuth flow will request read-only access to:

  • Standard objects (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Cases)
  • Custom objects you select
  • Activity data
